What information is needed to book?
Please provide the property address or postcode, number of bedrooms, furnishing level, service required, preferred appointment time and access arrangements.
How quickly will I receive the report?
Reports are normally delivered by email within 24 hours of the inspection. If an exceptional delay is expected, you will be told as soon as possible.
Does the tenant need to be present?
Not always. Attendance depends on the service and the access arrangements agreed at booking. Tenant attendance is usually helpful when keys or signatures need to be recorded.
Can you complete a check out using another company’s inventory?
Yes, provided a clear copy of the original inventory and any relevant check in record is supplied before the appointment.
Do you record keys, meters and alarms?
Keys and accessible meter readings can be recorded. Accessible smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are documented and only described as tested where a test was actually completed.
Can a report be corrected?
Please raise factual corrections promptly after receiving the report. Requested changes are reviewed against the inspection notes and photographic evidence.
What happens if access is unavailable?
Waiting time, an aborted visit or a return appointment may be chargeable where access is unavailable or the property cannot be entered safely.
Are your prices subject to VAT?
Veristead is not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not added to the quoted service fee. Any agreed parking, congestion or additional travel costs will be confirmed before booking.
